Hillary Clinton surged to a five-point lead over Donald Trump in a new ABC News-Washington Post tracking poll out Sunday, taking 48 percent of the vote among likely voters compared to 43 percent for her Republican opponent. The ABC poll found that Clinton’s lead was based on her qualifications and temperament, with 55 percent of voters finding her qualified to be president as opposed to 32 percent who thought that Trump was better qualified. In the previous ABC-Post poll, released Nov. 1, Trump led Clinton by 1 point.
